CONGRATULATIONS GENERALS FOR HAILING VICTORIOUS AS DKI CALGARY DIVISION CHAMPIONS

The Generals were all smiles after taking home GOLD after a 13 year championship drought.

Both teams seemed nervous to start, as the game could have gone wither way with lots of skill on both ends of the ice.

What an incredible journey for the Generals! After such a long 13-year wait, overcoming the odds to win versus the Puckhogs in such an intense final must feel so rewarding. The fact that they had to fight through the consolation bracket after a tough 9-1 loss shows incredible resilience and determination.

It was an emotional game, especially with both goalies in top form and the Generals capitalizing on some early rebounds. The Puckhogs really showed their strength with their constant, dangerous, offensive drive, but in the end, it was the Generals who stood strong when it mattered most and were fortunate to find a way through the Puckhogs goaltender.

Big props to the Puckhogs, they had an epic run and showed great heart, even in the face of such a tough challenge. This is a championship that will be remembered for a long time.

The Generals, were finally able to hoist the DKI Division Championship Cup high above their heads in pride! Congratulations to the Puckhogs for an amazing playoff run and congratulations to the Generals for a long, well deserved championship!
