KidSport: What inspired you and the CAMHL to support KidSport Calgary through this year’s raffle?
Patrick (CAMHL): Most of our player community are parents with kids in sports, so we’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact sports can have—not just on young athletes, but on families, the broader sports community, and society as a whole. Supporting KidSport Calgary felt like a natural fit. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the power of sport.

KidSport: What does access to sport mean to you and your community?
Patrick (CAMHL): Access to sport gives youth in our community a sense of purpose and direction. They’re mentored by older athletes, coached by dedicated professionals, and learn values like discipline, teamwork, and resilience. It’s more than just the game—it’s about building friendships, character, and a strong foundation for a productive life.

KidSport Calgary: What would you say to others considering supporting KidSport?
Patrick (CAMHL): If you want to understand the true impact of KidSport, just look at the faces of the kids out on the field, in the gym, or on the rink. The joy, pride, and sense of belonging are absolutely priceless. Supporting KidSport means investing in those moments—and in the future of our communities.
